Les Gets has preserved its genuine alpine village atmosphere. It’s a pretty village with traditionally built stone and wooden architecture. 

It is an excellent winter and summer resort, part of the fabulous international skiing area of Les Portes du Soleil it has a wonderful range of slopes suitable for all levels of skier. 

Great for families, aside from skiing there are a wide range of all year round activities – walking, climbing, golf, mountain biking, lake activities, paragliding, rafting, adventure park, tennis, etc. etc.

It is a compact village with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars, a couple of nightclubs, a cinema, a weekly market, a crèche and kindergarten.

The surrounding scenery is spectacular with distant views of the Mont Blanc massif to the south and of the Les Dents du Midi to the east in Switzerland.

There is an excellent free bus service and the petite train to get you around the village if you don’t have a car. However, we do recommend hiring a car if you are not driving out from the UK.

The chalet is just over an hour by car hire or ski transport from Geneva airport. We can arrange transfers on request.

Alternatively, if driving from the UK the journey takes approx. 9 hours from Calais. It is advisable when driving to have snow tyres and chains in the event of extreme weather conditions.
