About the Chalet

The chalet was built by the family in 1999 and is very much a beloved home, well equipped, very comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. Guests marvel about its welcoming and cosy feel.  It is set in a quiet position close to the ski slopes of Chavannes and to the Lake which is very popular in the Summer. It has wonderful views of the pic de Marcelly.

The chalet sleeps up to ten guests in five bedrooms: two doubles, two twin bedrooms and one bunk room. The four bathrooms are all equipped with hairdryers.

The kitchen is well equipped and close to the Dining Area and this is open plan to the Sitting Room with its lovely fireplace. There is free access to Wi-Fi throughout the chalet, terrestrial English TV and DVD player in the Sitting Room. Numerous board games, backgammon, perudo, puzzles, a darts board and table tennis table in the garage.

Linen and towels are provided and the chalet is cleaned once a week. Brian and Karen live locally and welcome you on arrival, talk you through the workings of the chalet and are at the end of the telephone should you need them.

There is a covered balcony through double doors from the Dining Area with a table and chairs and wonderful views for outdoor dining in the Summer. A boules court and a terrace on the opposite side of the house allow for following the sun at all times of the day.

The chalet is a two minute walk for access to the slopes on skis and a 10 minute walk to the village. The lake is 5 minutes further up the mountain.
